This site is intended to become a repository for information about how
information can be sorted by its subjective content. It has been
said that a Search Engine which can sort qualitatively may be the next
great leap for computing. However, there are broader
implications as the rigorous
understanding of how subjective sorting takes place could be the
salvation of humanity, and may be necessary for the continued social
evolution of the human race. Therefore - it is absolutely
essential that these ideas remain in the public trust, and available to
aid mankind's evolution and uplift our understanding of the subjective
realm, rather than becoming the sole intellectual property of any
individual, government, or corporate entity.
The ideas set forth on this site are intended to serve as a stepping stone to the continued evolution of computing systems that allow for the possibility of subjective distinctions in sorting parameters and searches. When computers can make qualitative determinations as readily as they now process quantitative input, there will be a revolution. If we don't want to create a world like that envisioned in Science Fiction stories like The Terminator or The Matrix, however, we need to assure that living human beings have access to the same detailed knowledge of information sorting that our machines will soon possess. Such questions pertain as much to cognition as to computing. The advancements that will lead to this knowledge are inevitable, and may happen very soon. If we do not take this opportunity to advance the cause of humanity, we will likely suffer for it. |
